John A. Vigna, Chairman, CEO and President

Mr. Vigna is a seasoned and accomplished Chief Executive with 30+ years experience having held Visionary and Leadership Positions in various Sectors including Engineering Services, Project Management, Telecommunications, Wireless and Mobile Networks, Computers, Electronics and specialty devices.

He has a Broad background in Finance, Systems, IT, Product Architecture, Development, and Design, QA/QC, Manufacturing and Project Management. He has also been responsible for the Global Launch of Hardware, Software, and Networks, and a broad range of Services, Security and Controls Management.

John has Operations expertise in all areas of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Process Improvement, Customer Services and Engineering and large scale Project Management. He has both the Strategic and Tactical skills to deliver results that exceed Shareholder, Investor, Board and Customer expectations.

He has held Executive roles in early stage ventures, middle market (Mezzanine and LBO) firms, IPO and large Public Companies. He has the overall leadership role in guiding Garden State to the next level of growth and success. John currently sits on two technology company Board of Directors, the Advisory Board for two technical/engineering schools, and has been an adjunct professor at a number of universities lecturing on project management and systems.

Gary Bender, Executive Vice President

Mr. Bender was previously Chief Financial Officer with three privately held manufacturing and engineering companies following a successful 20+ year career with Air Products and Chemicals.

At Air Products he held a number of key executive roles in finance, business development, operations and general management. Prior to Air Products, he held positions in the international unit of R J Reynolds Industries with assignments in Europe, Canada and Asia.

Gary received his MBA degree from University of North Carolina and his undergraduate degree from Penn State University.

He has served on a number of community zoning boards and is on the boards of two privately owned companies, the Life Sciences Council board, on curriculum advisory boards for two technical engineering schools, the Workforce Investment Board and the Board and Advisory Board of the CFO ALLIANCE.

Maria Bakes, Executive Vice President Business Development and QA/QC

Ms. Bakes has over 40 years of extensive engineering supervision, design and field experience with increasing responsibility in: Construction and Project Management, Scheduling and Estimating, Civil Engineering, Structural Steel Design, Pipe and Cable Tray Support Design, Bridge and Highway Structures, Irrigation Structures, Earth Dam and Hydraulic Structures Design, Site Development including Roads, Parking Lots, Railroads, Demolition, Drainage, etc..

In addition, Maria is the executive contact for all major accounts in Survey, Engineering and Scanning service deliveries. Reporting to the CEO on all expansion plans and offerings she also heads Business Development, Marketing, and identification of new service offerings.

Ms. Bakes has over nine years of university lecturing on hydraulics and hydrostructures. She has a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Bratislava, Czechoslavakia.

Kruno Kunkera, Executive Vice President Engineering/Acting Chief of Survey, President Garden State, NY

Mr. Kunkera has over 30 years of experience in the surveying and civil/structural engineering fields, working on the planning, design and construction of numerous projects in Tri-State area and throughout the United States. He has done work in the transportation and infrastructure, buildings and sites, universities, power plants, nuclear plants and manufacturing.

Mr. Kunkera holds a B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering from University of Zagreb, Croatia. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ohio and a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in New York.

Zoran Bolf, Vice President and Chief Engineer

Mr. Bolf has 30+ years of both national and international hands-on experience in Structural and Civil Engineering projects. He has worked and assumed responsibility in analysis, design, and preparation of drawings, specifications and proposals for a variety of projects including bridges, commercial, and residential structures. He is well versed in computer modeling and analysis using various engineering and surveying software. His expertise includes bridge rating analysis for super load crossings over existing bridge structures.

Mr. Bolf has a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Georgia.

Mirjana Bolf, Senior Engineer and Project Manager

Ms. Bolf has over 29 years of experience in the analysis and design of bridges, including new structures and the repair and rehabilitation of existing bridges. As a Structural Lead Engineer / Project Engineer, she has participated in the design of many major rehabilitation projects in New York, on various projects in New Jersey, and several other states, ranging from major viaducts and historic bridges to small pedestrian bridges. Mirjana has also participated in the design of sign structures, retaining walls, culverts, platforms and stairways, and railroad station buildings. She has also performed bridge ratings and in depth inspections.

She has applied her bridge knowledge to provide construction support by performing survey layout calculations necessary for bridge erection and deck supports for various New York and New Jersey bridges and structures. She was also lead engineer on several Value Engineering projects that included complete superstructure and substructure redesign and significant vertical profile adjustment.

Ms. Bolf holds a B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Rijeka, Croatia. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA).
