Former Pelham MGP Site Remediation

Project Overview :

The project consists of excavation of approximately 2,500,000 cubic yards of contaminated soil and replacement with suitable material. Also, on the property perimeter a watertight barrier was created to lower the groundwater table and enhance the foundation capacity.

Garden State provided engineering and surveying services during construction, which included preparation of a dewatering plan, design for trench box excavation, design for a gas main and electrical duct bank, temporary supports during excavation and waterproof barrier wall installation.

Garden State also performed precise monitoring (real time) of all on-site and some of the off-site facilities for movement during the work.
